HIV, gender, race, sexual orientation, sex work, food and housing insecurity: what do these have to do with HIV-related stigma? This session will focus on the ways that racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, and sex work stigma intersect and are woven into the ways that HIV stigma is experienced among women living with HIV. We will discuss the harmful effects of stigma, and the ways in which women living with HIV navigate and resist stigma.
